Community Land Management Plan Review
Pursuant to s 196 of the Local Government Act 1999 councils are required to prepare and adopt management plans for all community land that is either owned by or under their care and control.
On 19 December 2016 Council adopted the Town of Walkerville’s current Community Land Management Plans (CLMP). Following a recent strategic property review of all community land managed by the Town of Walkerville, on 16 September 2019, Council endorsed (in principle) a revised and comprehensive Community Land Register (CLR) and seven (7) associated Management Plans that are intended to supersede the current CLMP.

Printed copies of these documents will be available from Council offices during business hours.
A community information drop in session will be held: 11am -1 pm, Saturday 12 October 2019, Walkerville Town Hall, 66 Walkerville Terrace, Gilberton 5081. No RSVP required.
The Town of Walkerville is calling for submissions from interested parties regarding the proposed adoption of the CLR.
Feedback must be submitted in writing no later than
5 pm Thursday, 7 November 2019.
