Visual Cadence artworks by artist, Evelynne Richardson are now on display in the Theresa Walker Gallery until the end of November 2026.
Artist statement
Since childhood I have searched for creative outlets. Through teaching, study, practice, and travel, I have built a diverse portfolio of art works. Most days you will find me in my studio with a brush in my hand, palette in knife within reach and surrounded by shelves filled with tools, materials and everyday objects that allow me to experiment and create.
My compositions reflect a careful study of people, animals, iconic locations, architecture, urbran and rural landscapes, and everyday objects. You will find my work showcases colour harmonies, patterns, textures, mixed media, the play if light on surfaces and interesting perspectives.
I have received prizes and awards through my teaching and exhibitions. Many of my works have found new homes locally, interstate and overseas.
