Walkerville Knitting Group

A group of ‘tight-knit’ crocheters and knitters who meet regularly to knit and crochet items for charity groups, including newborn clothing for the Country Women’s Association or cuddly crochet animals for Vinnies and the Women’s Crisis Centre.

Meetings: Every Wednesday from 10.30am-12.30pm. Walk-ins are welcome.

Walkerville Rostrum Club

A local public speaking club for people who wish to develop their confidence in meetings, presentations and communication, and meet local people in the community.

Walkerville Bushcare Volunteers Group

Always looking for volunteers, the Walkerville Bushcare Volunteers Group undertakes working bees in multiple locations across the Walkerville Township. The aim of the group is to improve native vegetation and boost local biodiversity at sites along the Karrawirra Parri (River Torrens).
