SALA

Walkerville Comes Alive

The Town of Walkerville will host a truly unique SALA event on Sunday 30 August 2026, where artists and musicians will be positioned at various spots along Walkerville Terrace, creating their art for people to engage with among a few market stalls.

You’re invited to enjoy a coffee from a local cafe, sit for a free caricature portrait, get your initials in foil calligraphy on a free bookmark or add your own touch to the chalk art or Stobie pole mosiac being created.

There will also be free face painting and pavement chalk for children to create their own art.

All ages and stages welcome – there’ll be something for everyone.

Further details about the artists and musicians for this year's event can be found below.

Each of his mosaics serves not only as a form of artistic expression but also as a personal learning journey as he continually incorporates new techniques and ideas into his craft.
