The Walkerville Sports Club Design Committee has been established to assist in the design direction and scope of the renovation of the Walkerville Sports Club building.

At the Ordinary Meeting of 19 February 2024, Council Members supported the creation of the ‘Walkerville Sports Club Design Committee’. The purpose of the Committee is to:

• work closely with Council’s Project Management Team, architect and building contractors to help guide the design direction and scope of the Walkerville Sports Club project;
• carefully consider the needs of all key stakeholder groups;
• provide regular communication with all key stakeholder groups to ensure design options/proposals meet the needs of stakeholder groups;
• ensure the cost of the renovation remains within Council’s approved budget; and
• provide advice to Council in relation to the design process/progress.
