The Town of Walkerville is committed to celebrating our Town’s rich history and heritage. Council prides itself on maintaining and enhancing the unique character of the district and ensuring that our natural heritage and historic streetscapes are preserved, maintained and promoted for current and future generations. Heritage plays a key role in enriching the lives of our community – socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

As part of this commitment, Council showcases the importance of the Town’s heritage and character through its Streets of Distinction signage, Heritage Trail Markers and Heritage Plaques.
