Council Works Depot Redevelopment

The Walkerville Council Works Depot plays a vital role in maintaining Town of Walkerville’s streetscapes, parks, gardens, and recreational spaces. The service that it provides ensures the township remains attractive, well-maintained, and welcoming for the local community.

The previous Council’s Works Depot was substantially demolished and its footprint reduced to make way for the construction of The W: Walkerville Recreation Centre. Council is currently preparing a masterplan for the new depot, with the detailed concept design expected to be completed in early 2027. Council has allocated $750,000 in its Long-Term Financial Plan for the redevelopment of the Council Works Depot.
