UPDATE: The Draft Heritage Management Policy consultation has now closed and the results will be discussed and considered by Elected Members at its next meeting.
A Draft Heritage Management Policy is now open for community feedback, following minor revisions to ensure it complies with current legislation and internal Policies.
The changes are a result of a scheduled review of the Heritage Management Policy to ensure there is a consistent approach to dealing with heritage management matters.
Certain sections of the Policy have been amended or removed due to outdated Acts, Regulations or terminology that is referenced in the current Policy.
The Draft Policy was endorsed at the February Ordinary Meeting of Council and is now released for public consultation.
