The Mayor's Christmas Card Competition will be held again in 2024, with students and residents from across the Township able to submit a Christmas design or drawing with the chance of being selected as one of the winning card designs.

With the design theme, ‘Christmas in Walkerville’, the competition is open to students from all local schools and members of the local community to provide a drawing based on what Christmas in Walkerville looks like to them.

There are six winners to be selected – a student from each of the five local schools and a Township-wide (open resident category) winner.

The winning designs will be printed on Christmas cards and made available for free from the Civic & Community Centre, and at the Walkervillage Christmas Fair.

All six winners of the Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition will receive a $50 voucher.

How to enter:

The competition will be open until 4pm on Friday, 1 November 2024.

Submissions must be A5 size (148mm x 210mm), vertical or horizontal.

Please include your name, suburb, contact details and age, when submitting your Christmas card design.

To submit, either drop your design into the Civic & Community Centre during business hours or scan and email your design to walkerville@walkerville.sa.gov.au with the subject line ‘Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition’.
