Update on Chief Executive Officer
The Town of Walkerville has accepted the resignation of Dr Andrew Johnson as Chief Executive Officer.
Dr Johnson said he had enjoyed his time at the Town of Walkerville: “I want to thank the staff for their hard work and dedication during my time as CEO, and I wish everyone the best.”
Council thanks Dr Johnson for his service and extends its best wishes for his future.
Muhammad Jawad has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, and will continue in the role until a permanent appointment is made.
There are no changes to Council's day-to-day operations or services to the community, which will continue as normal. Council remains focused on delivering services, projects and outcomes for the Walkerville community.
Council will keep the community informed, where appropriate, regarding any future decisions relating to the Chief Executive Officer position.
