Bus Stop 9 Relocation

Bus Stop 9 (inbound) at 80 Walkerville Terrace.

Council, in consultation with Adelaide Metro (DPTI), have determined that the bus stop should be relocated to 66 Walkerville Terrace (in front of the Town of Walkerville Civic Centre). This aligns with the outbound route and relocates the bus stop away from the retail/food precinct and will improve the bus schedule in the morning peak period.

Buses are frequently held up at the current location and according to DPTI bus stops on the outbound side of signalised intersections cause less congestion and experience less delays.

Overall these is no net loss of carparks.

The relocation will commence on Friday 21 June 2019 and will take approximately two weeks to complete.
