South Australia’s new online database for dogs and cats is up and running and many people are utilising the online option to register their dogs.  This is a new Statewide system and while there have been a few teething problems, thousands of dog and cat owners and breeders across the State have registered online.

The Dog and Cat Online (DACO) website is user-friendly and takes you through the process step-by-step. Before going online, we recommend that you have the following details close at hand:

  • email address

  • drivers licence, if applicable

  • any valid concession cards

  • desexing and microchipping certificates

  • credit card or electronic banking NB: if you can’t pay electronically, there are other options listed on the renewal form.
