Willow Bend Reserve: new loo, new look

A new disability friendly and automated self-cleaning Exeloo has been installed at Willow Bend Reserve as part of a $200,000 upgrade.

Council’s contractor WC Innovations, along with Fleurieu Cranes, coordinated the expert crane delivery of the 8-tonne Exeloo safely into position. The facility was open to the public on Wednesday 24 November 2021.

The toilet will be automatically locked from 9pm to 6am every night during daylight savings and 6pm to 6am outside of daylight savings.

As part of the reserve facelift to the entrance point of the Township, the tennis courts were reinvigorated with a new blue acrylic surface to meet current play standards, as well as the addition of a basketball ring.

To complete the reserve upgrade, a new banner frame will be installed by the end of the year, along with plantings and landscaping works.
