Visual Cadence exhibition - closing soon

Visual Cadence artworks by artist Evelynne Richardson will be on display for the final few weeks in the Theresa Walker Gallery.

"Since childhood, I have searched for creative outlets. Through teaching, study, practice and travel, I have built a diverse portfolio of art works," explains Evelynne. "Most days you will find me in my studio with a brush in my hand, palette in knife within reach and surrounded by shelves filled with tools, materials and everyday objects that allow me to experiment and create."

Her artwork reflects a study of people, animals, iconic locations, architecture, urban and rural landscapes, and everyday objects.

She has received prizes and awards through her teaching and exhibitions. Many of her works have found new homes locally, interstate and overseas.

Visual Cadence will be on display until 26 November 2026 as part of Council's Your Art, Our Walls program. Be sure to check out the artwork next time you visit the Civic & Community Centre. You can find Evelynne on Instagram: @evelynnerrichardson
