Anthony Vanstone

Mr Anthony Vanstone

Anthony Vanstone, Councillor for Town of Walkerville, has lived in the Medindie area for over 20 years with his wife, Amanda – former Senator and Minister in the Howard Government.

He has a decorated career in serving the country and South Australia, formerly an officer in the RAAF reserves, a retired barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia, and a former Elected Member of a former Town of Walkerville Council.

Anthony is also a Trustee of the Louisa Da Costa Trust, which assists people with limited means after they leave hospital.

He is passionate about preserving the character of Medindie and intends to resist the development of high rises along Main North Road. Additionally, he wants to assist in improved the safety on roads around Medindie – especially along Robe Terrace.
