Q&A with John

Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: In mid-winter 2017, my wife, some friends, and I enjoyed a seven-week 14,000km motorcycle ride from Adelaide to Perth, via Darwin and back to Adelaide. I would do that trip again in a heartbeat!

Q: How long have you lived in the Town of Walkerville?
A: 10 years.

Q: What is your favourite part or place within the Township?
A: With my grandchildren on the Gilberton swing bridge, looking at the river to spot any Rakali (native water rats), turtles, ducks and waterfowl.

Q: What is your key area of focus while on Council and what do you hope to achieve as part of this?
A: Ensure that there is an appropriate response to mitigate and adapt to climate change, including recognising the value of the open spaces along River Torrens Linear Park and street trees.
