Q&A with Liz

Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: I love a good home project and have my welder ready for action.

Q: How long have you lived in the Town of Walkerville?
A: My family have lived in Walkerville since 2013. I remember the day we moved – our neighbours were all so warm and welcoming; it felt like home from the beginning.

Q: What is your favourite part or place within the Township?
A: Too many to list – the first one that comes to mind would have to be my street and the view of the oval. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful lush Township.

Q: What is your key area of focus while on Council and what do you hope to achieve as part of this?
A: I hope to bring the community’s voice to Council so, as Councillors, we can strategise the future of Walkerville by navigating future development without economic impact on the broader community or losing our identity as Walkerville Council. I also want to move forward with the bowling club/oval redevelopment at a sensible spend and fit for purpose.
