Q&A with Steven

Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: I once appeared on the game show, ‘The Price is Right’, whilst on a University Exchange in America in 2010. It caused the organisers quite a lot of stress when I won a large ‘Digital Grill’ that they then had to work out how to ship to Australia!

Q: How long have you lived in the Town of Walkerville?
A: My wife and I moved to our home in Vale Park almost three years ago. However, my wife’s family have lived here for over 10 years, so I have been a frequent visitor to the area for some time.

Q: What is your favourite part or place within the Township?
A: As we have a young daughter, we love all the beautiful parks and reserves in the Town of Walkerville. We appreciate the way these have been looked after and upgraded over time.

Q: What is your key area of focus while on Council and what do you hope to achieve as part of this?
A: My key area of focus while on Council is to be a proactive listener and to keep engaged with our local community. From this, I hope to take what I’ve heard from you into Council meetings and to strongly advocate on your behalf.
