Walkerville Council has become a ‘recharge scheme’ partner and will be a recharge facility for motorised mobility devices for members of our community.  An increasing number of motorised wheelchairs and mobility scooters are being used in our community, being stranded due to flat batteries is a major concern for motorised mobility device users.  The provision of designated areas for them to use to recharge their scooters and wheelchairs would reduce the stress and increase social connectedness and wellbeing.

Recharge points are available in the Civic and Community Centre’s foyer.
